Evian is France’s best selling spring water and one of the most recognised mineral waters in the world. Although it is a relatively low mineralised water, noted levels of Bicarbonate, Calcium and Magnesium make it a relatively ‘hard’ water with a rich full bodied flavour.
Evian is France’s best selling still mineral water. Named after the town of Evian on lake Geneva. The benefits of the water were first recognized in 1789, the year of the French Revolution, by the Marquis de Lessert who took the waters to ease his kidney stones. In 1815 thermal baths, known as Source Cachat after the family who originally owned the spring, were established and soon after a hotel followed. By 1890, and the arrival of rail, Evian was being widely distributed outside the local provence and exports to the US followed in 1905. Evian is today one of the most recognized mineral waters in the world. Evian is a still low mineralized water, but having noted levels of Bicarbonate, Calcium and Magnesium make it a relatively ‘hard’ water.
Delivery Times
Orders received before 10am will be prepared for same-day dispatch (Mon to Fri). Delivery is within 1-2 days to Auckland and North Island addresses. Please allow extra days for rural and South Island deliveries. There may be reasons why we cannot dispatch your order within this time frame. In such cases we will advise you of delays. Shipping time to destination will depend on location. This may be affected by public holidays or other factors beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy
We will try to accomodate changes in your circumstances. However, once an order has been shipped we are not obliged to accept cancellations.
Damages and Refunds
Damages should be advised within 5 working days of receipt of goods. Failure to advise of damages within 5 days may invalidate any claim. We will either refund or replace damaged goods to a similar value. The Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act will apply where appropriate.
