New Zealand waters have won numerous awards internationally for both product quality and packaging design. Most commercially bottled New Zealand waters have low levels of TDS (total dissolved solids) and are technically spring waters. This is possibly due to the country’s relatively young geological age. Many can be classed as sodium free, suitable for low sodium diets, and ideal for everyday hydration. New Zealand waters are also generally artesian and volcanic in origin, with many relatively rich in silica for this reason. Silica is known as the ‘beauty element’ due to its heath properties.
